SHARON F. MARTINEZ

Sharon F. Martinez, 73, of Windham, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She was born in Mount Vernon on June 16, 1949, to the late Charles E. and Mary Jane (nee Dowalter) Sherbourne.

She was a homemaker who was known for her kind and loving heart. Sharon enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, feeding her birds and squirrels, and loving her cat, Louie.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her children, Sherrie (Tracy) Poole, Lisa Martinez, Ruben (Amy) Martinez, and Melanie Martinez; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Sheila (Ken) Eichhorn, Leonard (Cathy) Sherbourne, and Dan (Barb) Sherbourne, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Cheral Steinhelfer, and her former husband, Guadalupe "Wally" Martinez.

The family would like to invite friends to honor and celebrate their lovely mother for a visitation on Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Another visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 A.M. Sharon will then be taken to Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville, where she will be laid to rest by Wally.
