Shirley Craft (nee Prokes), age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Shirley was born January 4, 1936, in Cleveland to James and Clara Prokes. She dedicated her life to her family.
She enjoyed crocheting and reading novels. Shirley loved her soap operas, never missing an episode. Her greatest passions were her children and grandchildren.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her children, James (Linda) and Clarene (dec William); grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Felicia, and Sadie; great grandchildren, Brianna, Jamarion, Willow, Zayvion, Ellianna, and Julian.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, William.
Friends may join the family for graveside service on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 10 am in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Myrtle Hill Road (County Road 63), Valley City. Shirley's family entrusted Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Brunswick with the arrangements.
