SHIRLEY TOMER

Shirley Tomer, age 85, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022. She was born on December 29, 1936, to the late Samuel and Mary Jane (Maines) Staymates in Export, Pennsylvania.

She was a Deaconess at First Christian Church. Shirley was an avid crafter, enjoyed creating stained glass, ceramics, and doll making. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. A certified groomer, Shirley loved animals.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her loving children, Connie (Darrin – Companion) Tomer and Russell (Michele) Tomer; grandchildren, Dion, Shawn, Christine, Laureen, Brooke, and Jenna; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Paul; and fury friend, Charlie.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn; sons, Darrell and Donnie; sister, Dorothy; and brothers, Elton and Orbin.

Please join the family for visitation on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick.
Funeral service will be Friday, December 16, 2022, at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, 2869 Grafton Rd., Brunswick at 11:30 am.
