Stanley H. Cook Jr.

Stanley H. Cook Jr., age 83, of Medina, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011. He was born to Stanley H. Sr. and Dona (nee Asbury ) Cook on October 26, 1928 in Edwight, West Virginia. Stanley and Alma (nee Stewart) were married 50 years. Stanley loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, Mr. Fix-it always staying busy; he had somewhere to go every day. Stanley will be dearly missed by his wife Alma, daughters, Delores (Frank-deceased) Quirino of Medina, Peggy (Roger) Davis of Willowood, OH and son James (Barbara) Cook of Cleveland, brother David (Linda) Cook of AZ, sister Irene (Clayton-deceased) Smith of Whitesville, WV, Elma (Luther-deceased) Mullins of Medina, Bauleah (Floyd)Williams of Burnsville, WV, Maxine (Ed)Wharton of Fairlawn, Norma(deceased) Mullins-Smiley (Samuel Smiley) of SC and 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren. Also preceding Stanley and his sister Norma in death are their parents and several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 4 to 7 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road Medina, Ohio with Service on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 10 AM also at the funeral home. Rev. James Duty officiating of Medina Church of Christ. Burial to follow in Mound Hill Cemetery, Seville, Ohio. Family will accept contributions to defray expenses c/o Carlson Funeral Home.
