STANLEY S. MAKOWSKI

Stanley S. Makowski, 80, passed away at his home in Medina, OH Saturday, October 13, 2018. Stanley was born September 28, 1938 in Ambridge, PA to the late Stanley F. and Mary (Debo) Makowski.
Stanley will be dearly missed by his loving wife Leah; daughter, Callie Rae (Fred) Pilkington and their 4 children; sisters, Carole Macdonald of Nevada, and Terrie (Terry) Dunlap of Ashville NC.
He was preceded in death by son Stanley Richard Makowski.
Stanley attended the University of Idaho and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1961. He was married June 2, 1962 and served as a captain in the marine corps until honorably discharged. He spent his career as a regional sales manager with Tri-State Hospital Supply. Stan was a member of the Medina Eagles, Medina VFW and Rustic Hills Country Club for many years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Friends may join the family for Stanley’s visitation Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256 from 5PM to 7PM. A funeral service for Stanley will be held October 24, 2018 at 12:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
