STANLEY D. STARKEY SR.

Stanley D. Starkey, "Red", 89, passed away on October 24, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 2, 1932, in Dodridge County, WV to the late Pearly B. and Ellen V. (Price) Starkey.
He was proud to have served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War; Stan served October 9, 1952 - September 21, 1954.
Stan will be deeply missed by his loving children, Stanley (Carrie) Starkey Jr., Randy (Kathy) Starkey and Becky (John) Starkey; grandchildren, Stanley, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Benjamin, Chasity, Matthew, Chi'Loe, Eric Jr, and Desirae; great-grandchildren, Sheldon, Carolyn, Lucian, Corvin, Chance, Jacquelyn, Matthew, Jr., Tre Vaughn, Gabrielle, Aubree, Isabella, Evelyn, Malik, Mathius, Maddux, Kinsley, Skye, Marcella, Onyx, and Sydney.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Deloris Payne and Opal Keefover; brothers, Winford Starkey, Howard Price, and Charles Starkey.
As per Stan's wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will take place in the spring at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a date to be determined. Arrangements for Stan were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH, 44231.
