Stephen Walton Boyce, 65, of Mineral Ridge, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born August 4, 1948 in Doddridge County, WV to Joseph Walton and Luella Ash Boyce.
Stephen is a Windham High School graduate and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors in Lordstown.
Stephen is survived by his children Dean Boyce of Champion and Tina Boyce of Mineral Ridge a stepson, Brian P. of Barberton; brothers, Bill (Donna) Boyce of KY, Joe (Tawnie) Boyce of Newton Falls and James (Kimberly) Boyce of Southington; and grandchildren, Megan, Nicholas, Lauren, Elijah, Heaven, Harley,Brianna, Caleb and Ethan.
Calling hours are 6-8 PM on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church, 9809 East Center St., Windham, OH 44288 with Rev. Richard Hose officiating. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be at Windham Township Cemetery with military honors.
