STEPHEN G. MILLER SR.

Stephen Glasgow Miller Sr., 71, of Medina, passed away Wednesday, March, 16, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 14, 1950 in Massillon, Ohio, to the late Jack and Marie (nee Hawk) Miller.

Stephen was drafted into the U.S. Army, February 12, 1970. His military occupation was Mechanical Maintenance TAMS Clerk. He earned the National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and sharpshooter badges for the M-16 rifle. Steve was a life long member of the Disabled American Veterans Group. He loved reading, gardening, his dogs, and was a die hard news group fanatic. He was affectionately known as the "Storytelling Grandpa", always telling the grandkids tall tales.

Stephen will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Patty, sons Stephen Jr (Toni), Brian (Elena), daughters Liberty Wright (Keith), and Brandy Schaefer (Christopher); Siblings Lisa Mullin (Michael), Jeff (Debbie), Sherman (Jody), and Deidre Rossi (Tony), and special brother Sam Hayes. Steve was a loving grandfather of 10, and dearest uncle to many.

Please join the family for a visitation on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 9-11am at Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 3477 Medina Rd (Corner of RT 18 & River Styx), followed by interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd, in Seville, Ohio.
