STEVE J. BOHAI

Photo: Obituary: Steve J. Bohai 89, of Hinckley, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 13, 1923 to George and Julia (nee Samoila) Bohai. Steve served as Staff Sergeant in Asiatic-Pacific Theater Southern Philippines with the United States Army. He married Katherine (nee Rempel) who passed away on January 11, 2003. He leaves behind his son Mark, daughter Teri, brother Alex and was a cherished uncle, great uncle and great great-uncle. Steve was one of the founders of Our Lady of Grace Church in Hinckley. He was a master builder enjoying all phases of woodworking and a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local # 435. He loved to play cards and loved spending time outdoors in his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 3 siblings. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18) Medina, Ohio. 10 AM, Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Our Lady of Grace Church 1088 Ridge Road Hinckley. Fr. Joe Mecir will officiate. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Burial to follow in Beach Cemetery.
