City: Brunswick : Photo: Obituary: Sylvia E. Lindsey (nee Williams), 87 of Brunswick, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012. Our beloved mother has gone home to be with the Lord. She was born February 24, 1925 in Grindstone, Pennsylvania to Otto and Della (nee Norman) Williams. Sylvia was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church and Brunswick Eagles. She lived for her children and family, and worked over 60 years, mostly as a waitress. Sylvia is survived by her loving children Meredith Bath of Brunswick, Dee (Tim) Singleton of Florida and Charles (Pollie) Lindsey of Brunswick, brother Larry (Debbie) Williams of Pennsylvania, grandchildren Sylvia (Alan) Hill, James and Joseph Williams, John, Rodney and James Bath, Christine Culp, Michael Freelandt and Eric Lindsey, and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, daughter Della Fern Williams, brothers Herbert and Herman Williams, sister Evelyn Neumann and her parents. Friends may join the family for Visitation on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick and one hour prior 10 to 11 AM to on Thursday May 17, 2012 to Funeral Service at 11AM also at the funeral home. Pastor Richard Powers will officiate. Graveside service will follow at Westview Cemetery in Brunswick. Special Thanks to Willowood Care Center in Brunswick for the loving care she received.
