TERRENCE EDWARD O'CONNOR

Terrence E. O'Connor, age 82, of Medina, passed away on January 15, 2020. He was born on May 8, 1937, in Elyria, to the late Edward and Claire (née Emerich) O'Connor.

Terry graduated from St Edward High School in Lakewood, attended Fenn College graduating from Cleveland State University. He started his career at the Illuminating Company followed by Great Lakes Diesel. He had a second career in opening a closed door pharmacy for the health care industry and as President of Avalon Foods. He was active in his church and church choir, committed supporter of feeding Medina County, and worked on the golf course at Westfield Country Club following his retirement.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Carol (née Pampush); children, Lisa Smith (Robert), John O'Connor (Mary), Mary O'Connor, Patrick O'Connor, Megan McNeill (Roger); grandchildren, Alexander Bridges, Stephen O'Connor, Kathryn O'Connor; brother, James O'Connor; brothers-in-law, Thomas, Robert (Barbara) and William (Jeanne); three great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his uncle and aunt, Ralph "Pinky" Emerich (June), brother-in-law, James Pampush; sisters-in-law, Ruth Pampush, Lillian Pampush, and Tess Pampush.

Friends may join the family for visitation on January 26, 2020, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Terry on January 27, at 11:00AM, at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 Weymouth Rd, Medina, OH 44256. There will be a visitation one hour prior to Mass at 10:00AM (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
