Terry Lee Klem, 67, of Garrettsville Ohio passed away on Saturday August 30, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 28, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to Thomas and Helen (Keiper) Klem.
He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran, Ohio State Highway Patrolman for 10 years, Kent State University Police Officer for 18 years, a member of the Garrettsville Eagles #2705, American Legion Post #674 and Masonic Lodge #246. Terry was well known as a Realtor with Century 21 Goldfire Realty and a member of the Carlson Funeral Home family. He enjoyed all sports and doing yard work, especially cutting firewood.
Terry will be missed by his family, sons Thomas (Natalie) Klem of Nashville TN, Scott Klem of Nelson; daughters Kimberly Klem of Streetsboro and Tammy Klem of Madison; brother Mike (Brenda) Klem of Statesville NC; sisters Lynda (Hank) Paul of Garrettsville and Sheila (Jack) Besse of Champion; grandchildren Logan, Landon, Isaac, Elaine and Abby.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
The family will welcome friends for visitation on Thursday September 4, 2014 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Funeral Service with Military Honours will be Friday September 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Harrington Cemetery at a later date.
