Thelma Sansom, 88, of Ravenna, formerly of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born June 13, 1922, in Wayne, WV. to the late Moss and Martha B. (Smith) Mills.
She was a member of the Church of God in Streetsboro and also faithfully attended Windham Bible Church. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Linda (Daniel) Rolinson of Ravenna; brothers, Leo Mills of Wayne, WV. and Truman (Pauline) Mills of AZ.; grandchildren Tina (Kevin) Pillion of Georgia, Tara (Thomas) Drzik of Green, Thomas (Evelyn) Kafides of Georgia and Angelia Harman of Dalton, OH; ten great-grandchildren; and special nephews Joseph and James Simone.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles T.; brothers, Kermit and John Wesley and Ray Mills; and sisters, Reva Kermeans and Zelma Mraz.
Calling hours are 4-8 PM on Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231 where funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday with Rev. Fred Youngen officiating. Burial will follow at Windham Township Cemetery.
