THERESA MARIE OLMSTEAD

Theresa Marie Olmstead, 86, of Parkman, passed away on December 18, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 20, 1929, to Louis and Josephine (Hejl) Fortuna.
She spent many hours tending to her roses and working with her flowers. Her family described her as a “great” cook and baker. She loved to travel and to show her family videos from trips out west. Theresa enjoyed seeing her classmates at reunions. Her passion was serving her loyal clients at her beauty shop. Theresa was a loving, caring person who shared her smile and love with all who knew her.
Theresa is survived by her siblings, Daniel (Helen) Fortuna of Virginia, Sue Mason of Garrettsville and Nancy (Robert) Ray of Warren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bruce, to whom she was married for almost 65 years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 11 AM to 12 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio. Services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015, 12 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Ebie officiating. Burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery in Parkman.
