Thomas Anthony Folan Jr., age 61, of Brunswick, passed away August 25, 2017. He was born June 27, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio to Thomas Sr. and Carmella (nee Medile) Folan.
Thomas was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was a compassionate man with a big heart that touched many. Thomas was kind and friendly. He loved to talk to everyone; he had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He was also an avid sports fan who coached many softball and baseball teams…..and he loved Christmas music.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Jane (nee Boczek); mother, Carmella; children, Brittany Folan (Norm Jones III), Kristina Folan, Thomas Folan III (Taylor Hagler), Jennifer Folan; grandchildren, Anthony, Skylar, Marissa, Sydney, Austin; sister, Ruth Ann “Sissy” Cox; cousin, Rita (Gregory) Roth; and many loved family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Folan Sr.
Friends may join the family for visitation Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 3 to 5 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. There will be a visitation one hour prior to Mass at 9:30 am (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment to follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
