Tom passed away peacefully April 5, 2024, surrounded by family. He fought a long hard battle with heart disease. We had a saying he had nine lives, unfortunately this is the one that took him from us.
Born in 1950 to Edward and Jeanne (nee Norris) in a little town called Berea, during an Era of muscle cars, and motorcycles, which would become his passion. Joining the Navy in 1969, he served in the Fighter Squadron 101. Tom’s love for the “Classic Rock Bands” began in the 70s with the Queen, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd and ZZ Top. He was a forklift mechanic, and car parts deliverer, meeting many people along the way. Tom was always fixing the cars of family members, whom he loved so much. He enjoyed going camping and on little trips with Rhonda when they could.
We will always remember seeing him dressed in a Harley shirt, riding the Harleys, that he loved so much, and his long beard blowing in the wind.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Rhonda (nee Stanley) of 29 years, his two sons that he adored, David and Vinny (Amber). His sisters Peggy Garman and Donna Nugent. Uncle to many nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. The son-in-law of Connie Crowe, brother-in-law of Michelle Caveney (Gary) and David Zanny (Melissa). His best friend Scott Ochwat.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister San Dee Weber, brother John, brothers-in-law Mark Garman and Emil Weber, nephew Dennis Weber, Aunt Joan and Uncle Tony Pongallo.
