THOMAS HERALD PRICE

Thomas Price, 83, of Sarasota, Florida, born October 4, 1941, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was a resident of Sarasota County for 52 years.

Thomas graduated from Parma High School in Parma, Ohio, in 1961. He served in the Army from 1967-1968. Thomas eventually earned his Associates Degree from Manatee Community College.

Thomas was a barber for 35 years in Sarasota. He served on the Barber Board in Tallahassee. He was active in Sarasota County Jaycees, CONA, Control Growth Now, and Sarasota Bay Estuaries. He also ran for County Commissioner.
Thomas is survived by his spouse, Nancy M. Cain Price; and brother, John E. Price of Naples, Florida.

A visitation for Thomas will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home Celebration of Life Center, 7454 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231. 

Burial will take place on January 21, 2025 at 2:15 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273.  Those who wish to attend the burial can meet at the cemetery by 2:00 p.m.
