Thomas “Tom” J. Bolger, Sr., 93, of Parma, OH, formerly of Garrettsville, OH, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He was born December 29, 1930, in Cleveland, OH, to the late Patrick and Anna (nee Bendes) Bolger.
He was raised in Cleveland, where he worked as a roofer until retirement at A. Blecher Roofing. Tom had a passion for his guns and many pets throughout his life. He was artistic and enjoyed soldering metals to create jewelry. Tom loved having a cold beer, camping, swimming, campfires; however, above all that, Tom’s true love was his family and spending time with them, especially the grandkids and great grandkids!
Tom will forever be missed by his children, Thomas Bolger, Jr., Denise Bolger, Theresa (Sean McGarry) Traci, and Donna Rini; grandchildren, John, T.J., Amber, Mike, Adrianne, Corey, Ed, and Tiffany; great grandchildren, Ella, Mason, Ilyanna, Ilyah, Leah, Olivia, Owen, Joey, Lexi, Miyan, Aris, Addison, Jackson, and Charlotte; siblings, Richard (Cathy) Bolger and Margie (Bob) McFarland, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Palestine (Mullins) Bolger, as well as siblings, Frank, Patrick, William, James, Robert, Catherine, and MaryAnn.
Please join the family for a visitation Thursday, January 2, 2025, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Tom will then be taken to Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Twp., OH, where he will be lovingly laid to rest with his dear Palestine.
