THOMAS "TOM" BASILE TERRY

Thomas “Tom” Basile Terry, age 85 of Brecksville, passed away on September 17, 2024.

Tom was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 27, 1939, to Orville and Mildred (Basile) Terry. He served in the US Army National Guard. Tom worked as a carpenter and a home builder for many years. He married Marianne in 1978. Tom was a member of The Church of the Assumption in Broadview Heights. He enjoyed going boating and spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Susan, Nancy, and Ted.

Tom will be deeply missed by his wife, Marianne, children, Julie (Josh Smerdel) Terry, Christie (Timothy) Phillips, and Karolyn (Lucas) Janke, grandchildren, Mason, Brooke, Thomas, Hailey, Luke, Landon, Liam, Lincoln, and Lachlan, siblings, David “Tim”, Judy, and John “Jack”. 

Friends and family may come to call on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Church of the Assumption, 9183 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights. Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
