Tibor “Tom” Z. Pusztai, 71 of Brunswick passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Tibor was born on March 30, 1940 in Ricse, Hungary to Janos and Zsuzsanna (nee Majoros).
He loved fishing, bowling and adored his family and playing with his granddaughters. He was a member of UAW Local 1250. Tibor was a machinist at Ford Motor Company retiring in 2000 after 40 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Sofia (nee Thomae); daughters Michelle (Richard Jr) Vadovski of N. Royalton and Kathleen (Kevin) Steele of Creston; sisters Pearl Sandor of Brunswick, Judy Shranko-Nagy of N. Benton, Susan (Gary) Waselich of N. Benton Erika Pusztai of Orlando, Fl; sister-in-law Diane Pusztai; granddaughters Vanessa and Marissa and is the beloved uncle to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers John Pustay and Peter Pusztai; brother-in-law Vince Sandor.
Friends may call on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 10:00 AM also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hinckley.
