On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, the Lord decided to call one of his Angels home. Venita Rose Kaufman was born March 24, 1948, to Robert & Dorothy Kaufman. She was preceded in death by her Sister Margie, Brothers David (Auntie Jodi) Jackie, Paul, Russel, her daughter Patricia Davis & sister-in-law Liz Jones.
Venita was a member of First Apostolic Faith Church in Akron.
She leaves behind her daughters Angela Renee (James) Addie, Theresa (Forrest), Joann (James), Homer (Shirley), Pam (Cleon), Nettie (Author), Lenton (Tammy), Andre, Russel & Westley Davis, Ricky Rucker; her sister Joyce, Brothers Donny & Ricky; She will be deeply missed by Robert Davis, brother-in-law Roy L Burke and Soni (Kendal)Burke, sister-in-law Ruth Robinson.
She had 29 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Venita was outgoing, sassy and spontaneous. In her spare time, she loved to work on cross word puzzles (penny press) and collecting pens. She loved butterflies, 57 Chevy, Elvis and handsome firemen and of course her cigarettes.
She also enjoyed watching The Hallmark Channel, but I think she wanted a job with the weather channel because she would call us daily with weather up-dates.
We will miss our weekly rides together, going shopping. You calling for Michelle to come get your grocery list. You calling to talk to "Little Man" as you call James Jr.. You laughing with Jasmine and LaTice in the car, but I will miss you most, good times and bad, from walking me home from school to standing by my side on my wedding day. You were always there.
I miss you so much Mom! You will never know how much I love you. I hate that you are no longer here with us physically but your always in our hearts. Please ask God to watch over us all until we can see each other again.
Love Always to the moon and back
Your Baby Girl, Renee

“Venita”
We cried when you passed away. And we still cry today.
Although we loved you dearly, we couldn’t make you stay.
There is things that we will always remember
No matter how old we may grow.
Like the way you pronounced spaghetti
And secrets that we shared that others will never know.
God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So, he put his arms around you, and whispered “Come to Me”
But the thing is Venita, we never got the chance to say “We Love You”
Never got the chance to say “We’ll miss you”
Nobody told us you were going to die.
It hurts, we never had the chance to say “Good-bye”.
Your golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest.
God broke out hearts to prove he only takes the best.
So, we’re sending butterflies to heaven, with parcels on their wings
Be careful when you open them, they are full of beautiful things.
It’s been a privilege to have known you
And until we meet again, on God we must rely.
We will always love & miss you, for now, Goodbye.
Your Children
