VICTORIA SIMMONS

Victoria Mary Simmons, age 79, of Lakewood, passed away on July 17, 2022, succumbed to a blood infection following routine surgery that led to organ failure. She was born on January 10, 1943, to the late John Andrew and Virginia (nee Delgado) Snack in Cleveland. She was the gentlest and most patient person someone could ever meet. Victoria was an LPN and a talented crafter, who loved making special gifts for others. Her sudden absence is felt by all who's lives she touched as a nurse, friend, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Victoria truly was a strong woman who had the upmost care and concern for all her family and friends up until the very end of her lifetime. Victoria will be deeply missed by her children, John Kollar, Jeff Kollar, Jason Kollar, Jaylan Simmons, Jackie Pordash, Jennifer Kollar, and Julianna Kollar; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and siblings, John Snack, Rodney Snack, Claudia Clark, and Pamela Haffner. In addition to her parents, Victoria was preceded in death by her first husband, John Kollar; second husband, Leroy Simmons; son, Joseph Kollar; and grandparents, Andrew Snack, Mary Snack, Felix Delgado, and Luisa Delgado. Please join the family for a Memorial Visitation on Monday, July 25, 2022, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd, Brunswick. Graveside service following at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, 2869 Center Rd, Brunswick, at 12:30 pm.
