VIRGINIA HUMPHREY

Virginia Humphrey, age 85, of Parma Heights, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022. She was born on December 20, 1936, in Fremont to the late Walter and Lucille (nee Nickels) Roberts.

She was a church volunteer at Pleasant Hills Methodist Church. Virginia enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling to Maine to see her friend Dodi, and flower gardening.

Virginia will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 67 years, Jack; children, Wesley (Barbara) and Deborah (Glenn) Brooks; grandchildren, John (Emily), Joseph (Jessica), James (Kyrstal Polansky), Erin (Blair) Bechtel, Sarah (Kevin) Markley, and Cody (Cassie) Brooks; great grandchildren, Riley, Rhys, Hannah, Joey, Alaina, Gavin, Ledger, Violet, Richie, Finley, Clara, Aidan, Wynter, and Ever; siblings, Richard (Millie) Roberts, Joyce Clark, and Elaine (William) Carpenter; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Lee; and brother-in-laws, Gerald Clark and Wayne Hyer.

Please join the family for visitation on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Service following visitation at 12:30 pm. Interment at 2:00 pm in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rowiga Rd, Seville. A celebration of life will be at the Brunswick Eagle, 349 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm.
