Photo: Obituary: Virginia Ryan (nee Scherbarth) age 91, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Julius and Theresa (nee Wiersma). Virginia was a member of St. Ambrose Choir, Brunswick Entertainment Co., and The Social Lates & The Gibson Girls. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Jack) Jauch, Francine Ryan, and Patricia (Paul) Widenmeyer; her sons, James (Janet), Timothy (Holley), Kim Thomas and Shawn; her sister, Frances Parbst of Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, James. Friends may join the family for Visitation on Monday, January 14, 2013, from 5-9 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Visitation at 11 AM prior to Mass of Christian Burial at Noon on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at St. Ambrose Parish Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick. (Please meet at the church).
