Virginia E. Wires-Louk 95, of Medina passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013. She was born August 8, 1917 in Marietta, Ohio to Charles and Maude(nee Emerick ) Lucas.
Virginia was employed in sales, in the furniture business. She loved to sew and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Medina Church of Christ.
Virginia will be missed by children, Carolyn (Gerald) Stahl, Harold (Cynthia) Wires, Roger (Deborah) Wires, Richard (Tamara) Wires; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
She will again be with her departed family; son Donald M. Wires Jr., parents, siblings, Charles, Paul, Roseen, Dorothy and her husband Lee “Roy” Louk who passed away on June 2, 2011, and her first husband, Donald Wires who passed away in 1967.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 2 to 4 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Rt. 18 & River Styx Rd.) Medina, Ohio. Funeral Service at 4 PM. Additional Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Belpre Church of Christ 2932 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio from 11 to 11:30 AM. Graveside Service will follow at 12 Noon, Virginia will be laid to rest with her first husband Donald Wires in Rockland Cemetery Belpre, Ohio.
