Vivian D. Jackson, 87, of Southington, passed away on February 10, 2016. She was born on September 28, 1928 to Charles and Helen (Reese) Myers in Cassville, West Virginia.
She was a cook for the Southington School District for 28 years, retiring at the age of 74. Vivian was a member of the Southington Christian Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, taking bus trips for travel and her pet dogs. Vivian loved spending time with her family and friends.
Vivian is survived by her children, Karen Hall, Helen “Susie” Davis and Billy (Sylvia) Jackson all of Southington; sister, Lucille Patterson of Morgantown, West Virginia; grandchildren, Stacy (Dale) Dadisman, Sharon Dadisman, Kelly Jackson, Brian (Heidi) Piecuch and Michael (June) Jackson; and great grandchildren, James Clay, D.J., Aaron, Joey and Nick Dadisman, Natalie and Julia Piecuch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy and brothers, Blaine and Billy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio. Services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016, 1 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Ted Speaker officiating. Burial to follow in Southington Township Reformed Cemetery.
