WALTER F. RATCLIFF
September 12, 1935 — April 24, 2017
Walter F. Ratcliff, age 81, of Brunswick, passed away April 24, 2017. He was born September 12, 1935 in Jackson, Tennessee to the late Harold and Maureen (nee Cole) Ratcliff.
Walter was active in community affairs for the City of Brunswick where he planned and participated in many community events. He was a past Scout Master for the Brunswick Boy Scout Troop 518. He loved watching Westerns.
He will be dearly missed by his loving daughters, Kimberly Stanley, Sharon Olbrysh; grandchildren, Andrea (Roy), Joey (Gail), Kelly (John), Jennifer (Phil), Charles Jr., Steven, Amanda, Shannen (Kevin); eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Dan (Sharon), Janice (Howard) Shotts; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara; son, Charles Sr.; sisters, Nancy Sherwood, Lillian Krailo.
Friends may join the family for visitation Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted.
