WARREN N. OBLISK, SR.

Warren N. Oblisk, Sr., age 81 of Brunswick, went to Heaven on January 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Warren was born on April 21, 1943, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Lester and Marquerite (Sprague) Oblisk. He served in the US Army. Warren worked for many years as a truck driver, worked for the railroad, and as a volunteer firefighter for Brunswick Fire Department. He had a great sense of humor and adored every animal he ever met. Warren enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing and boating on Lake Erie. His dogs and cats were everything to him. There wasn’t anything he would not do for his grandkids. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Chuck and Lester, sisters, Donna and Babe, and sons, Brett and Bart.

Warren will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 48 years, Debbie, children, Kristy (Michael) Austin and Warren “Bo” (Cabrina) Oblisk, Jr., grandchildren, Jeff, Justin, Nick, Ashlee, and Chase, and multiple great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may come to call on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. A private family burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
