WAYNE RICHMOND

Wayne Richmond, 76, of Nelson, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 30, 2014. He was born September 6, 1937 in Kilsyth, WV to Edward G. and Pearline (Kincaid) Richmond.

Wayne enjoyed a variety of occupations. He was a true renaissance man, and many people would recognize him as an insurance agent. He enjoyed a close relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a true patriot. Wayne loved hunting, fishing, bowling and being outdoors. He was a hard worker and especially loved time spent with his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Blanche (Estep) Richmond of Nelson; sons, Jeff (Tina) of NY, Jay (Sandi) of Garrettsville and Chip (Autumn) of Northfield Center; daughter, Katie Kopf of Buffalo; sister, Patricia Potter of Minneapolis; niece, Karen Potter; and grandchildren, Neal, Jason, Heather, Melanie, Alice, Penelope and Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughters, Judith Ann and Julie Ann.

Calling hours are 5-8 PM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 and one hour prior to the 2 PM service on Wednesday at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Rev. Fred Bell will officiate the service followed by burial at Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Twp.
