WAYNE D. "SONNY" STARK

Wayne D. “Sonny” Stark, 82, of Garrettsville, passed away at his residence on December 17, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 28, 1932 to Joseph and Pearl (Eiford) Stark in Rostraver Township, PA.

Wayne was a United States Marine veteran of the Korean War. He was formerly a Greens Keeper at Tanglewood Country Club. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, any outdoor activities and woodworking. Wayne cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Fran (Totten) whom he married on July 1, 1960; children, Sharon (Joe Reynolds) Stark of Aurora, Deborah (David) Krebs of Garrettsville, and Jeffrey (Mark Tumeo) Stark of Florida; grandchildren, Robert, Danielle, David, Kurtis, and Adam; 5 great- grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Jane Stark of Chardon.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Joseph Stark Jr.

Friends may join the family for calling hours on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 1-4 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. His funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 4 PM Sunday with Rev. Kris Patt officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery in Garrettsville at 11 AM on Monday, with full military honors.
