WENDELL F. LANGFORD

Wendell F. Langford, 83, of Norton, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. He was born October 15, 1940, in Barberton, Ohio, to the late William and Christine Langford.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Wendell retired from Consolidated Freightways (C.F.) Trucking Company after many years as a truck driver. He had a love for old cars; Wendell bought, restored, and proudly drove his 1966 Dodge Dart to all the car shows. He also spent many days and hours with his grandson, Marcus rebuilding 4 wheelers and selling them. If it had a motor, Wendell and Marcus would work on it.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving grandson and best friend, Marcus Langford.
Wendell is survived by his daughter, Sarah Langford-Young, son-in-law, Dionte Young; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Billy and Ginger Dunn; sister-in-law, Kathy Mandat; nieces, Alice (Jimmy) Redd, Jennifer (Aaron) Mull and Megan Dunn; nephews, P.D (Lisa) Dunn and Jimbo (Jessa) Mandat; aunt Peggy Russell and many loving cousins, family and friends.
In honoring Wendell’s wishes there will be a private family graveside service at the convenience of the family at Poe Cemetery in Montville, Township. Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Medina is entrusted with the services.
