Photo: Obituary: William F. Evitts, 78 of Windham, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 21st, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born September 15, 1934 in Luzerne, Kentucky to Joseph and Grace (nee Tucker) Evitts. He was a volunteer at Robinson Memorial Hospital and received the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2011. Bill was the past President of the Portage County Men’s Bowling Association and enjoyed reading Louis L’Amour books and watching old movies. Bill is survived by his loving wife Suzanne (nee Oliver) of Windham, beloved sons Lee Joseph (Marie) and Bill A. (Jennifer) both of Garrettsville; cherished granddaughter Emma; sisters Barbara Byrne of Brecksville, Alice Matarrese of Streetsboro and Wilda (Gene) Nowakowski of Andover; brother Joseph (Beth) Evitts of Garrettsville. He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends may join the family for memorial visitation on Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Memorial Service at 4:00 PM with Dr. Michael E Carlson officiating. Interment at a later date at Hilltop Cemetery, Mantua, Ohio.
