William “Bill” Mark Galinac William “Bill” Mark Galinac, 72, of Nelson, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. He was born May 23, 1938 in Scrub Grass, Pennsylvania to the late Lawrence and Ann (Bedick) Galinac.
Bill served in the U. S. Marine Corps and was a glazer at Imperial Glass. He was a member of the Windham Church of Christ and served at the Lord’s table. Bill was a diehard Steeler’s fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, rodeos and horseback riding and was an avid John Wayne fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Bill is survived by his wife, Roberta “Bobbie” (O’Sako) Galinac of Nelson; sons, William (Suzanne) Galinac of Montana and Robert Galinac of Kent; step-daughter, Sharon Ann Martin of Georgia; brothers, Larry Galinac of Pennsylvania and Tom (Joy) Galinac of Cleveland; sister, Dorothy (Don) Roder of Arizona, one grandchild, Emma Bea Galinac, and step-grandchildren, Shane Martin and Cody Martin.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Joe (Elizabeth) Galinac, Helen (John) Gyenes, Mary (Frank) Weravetz, John (Mary) Galinac; and sister-in-law, Eleanore Galinac.
Calling hours are Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 9 to 10 AM at the Church of Christ, 9837 Wolf Rd., Windham, OH 44288. Funeral services will begin at 10 AM at the church with Preacher Jeffrey Wyeth officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Dunbar, Pennsylvania at 3 PM.
