William Gallon, age 88, of Brunswick, passed away November 30, 2017. He was born November 26, 1929 in Pursglove, West Virginia to the late John and Mary (nee Turnsek) Gallon.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Brunswick VFW Post 9520 where he managed the bar for 30 years. He worked as a welder at White Motor Company for 27 years. Some of Bill’s favorite pastimes included golfing and Polka dancing.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 60 years, Sabella (nee Puzella); children, Willam (Susan), Michael, Mark; grandchildren, Bill, Ron, Mark, Chase, Page; many nieces and nephews; and a multitude of veteran comrades and good friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Rudy, John, Edmund, Adi, and Geraldine.
Friends may join the family for visitation Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Deacon Gary Tomazic to officiate. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
