William C. Heller, 78, of Windham, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 27, 1936 in Pomaria, South Carolina to Calvin and Sophia Eichelberger Heller.
William served in the U.S. Army and was a mold maker at A.C. Williams. He was an avid fan of Cleveland sports. He enjoyed playing Yahtzee, fishing, and loved helping people. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, especially his grand and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Loretta Qualls Heller of Windham; children, Sharon Heller of Warren, Greg Heller of Streetsboro, and Nicki Heller of Warren; brother, Walter C. Heller of Warren, grandchildren, Shatoya, Mac, Tony, Jay and Matthew; 10 great-grandchildren, and best friend, Patricia Hall of Kent.
William was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Juanita; brother, Breaker Heller and sister, Annie Mae Wright.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 11 AM to 4 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Going Home Service will begin on Tuesday at 4 PM at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Neil Heller.
