William K. Johnson, Jr. age 81, of Ravenna, passed away on March 13, 2021. He was born on January 27, 1940, in Nanty Glo, PA to William K. and Helen (Brown) Johnson.
Willie served in the Army from 1963 - 1965, stationed In Korea. He retired from Equitable Oil in 2000. In addition to spending time with his family, Willie's passions were woodworking and classic cars. He was the proud owner of a 1955 Chevrolet Bellaire, and more recently acquired a 1949 Mercury Coupe. He spent many a summer day traveling in his Bellaire, going from car show to car show with his buddies. Willie also enjoyed making projects in his wood shop; he created many keepsakes for his wife and grandchildren. Willie loved to entertain family and friends with the banjo, harmonica, and guitar. He was a member of the Ravenna Church of Christ, proudly serving with the Food Bank Program.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn (Hamilton) Johnson; son, Kenny (Sheri) Johnson of Garrettsville; daughter, Patty (Nolan) Fuller of Lewis Center, OH; adored grandchildren, Stephanie, Leah (Aric), Austin, Casey, and Dana.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Bob and Jim.
