William “Bill” Kollar, age 71, of Brunswick, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Falling Water Healthcare, Strongsville, while battling cancer.
Bill was born on May 14, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Andrew and Mary (nee Proze) Kollar.
He was a retired truck driver from Lovelace Trucking Co. and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 17 years, Dianna; loving children, Nick Kollar Gene Wilson, Andrea Bales, Sandy (Dan) Nemes, Robert (Dana) Bales, Richard (Jessica) Bales; brothers, Robert (Valerie) Kollar and John (Jan) Kollar; sister, Anna Kollar; dear grandchildren, Alicia Bales, Kyle Nemes, Jacob Kollar, Michael Bales, Taylor Nemes, Drew Bales and Liz Cavender; and dearest great-grandchildren, Kayden, Riely, Wyatt and Ashlynn.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Andrew, Harold, Margaret, Millie, Elizabeth “Betty” and Mary (Rich) Oster.
At Bill’s request there will be no public services. Arrangements were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 1642 Pearl Rd. (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
