WILLIAM FRANCIS POPOVICH

William Francis Popovich, 63, passed away comfortably in his home surrounded by loved ones on the evening of December 12th. He was born on October 8, 1954 in Spangler, PA.

Bill was a physician and hospitalist at the Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital. He was deeply passionate about his work and derived great joy through his professional community.
Bill’s life was a celebration- he played the flute with the skill of a professional musician, mastered the art of eating well, and built meaningful relationships that spanned differences in age, culture, and lifestyle. To his family and friends, Bill was an unconditional source of love and support.

He inspired la joie de vivre in all those whose lives he came to touch, especially: his mother Mary Ann; brother Rick and sister-in-law Judy; sister Angel ( Kevin); nieces and nephews including Abby, Amy, Mallorie, Melissa, Michael, Blaise, Meadow; and godchildren Alexa and Joey and many great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Carlson Funeral Home at 3477 Medina Road, Medina on Friday December 15th from 4pm – 7pm. Funeral Service at Carlson Funeral Home on Saturday, December 16th at 11 AM. Burial will be private. Interment in Granger/Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Medina County.
