WILLIAM G. ROBERTS

William G. Roberts, age 72, of Brunswick, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019.
He was born on February 24, 1947 in Cleveland to the late Marvin and Lorene (nee Gardner) Roberts.
William served in the United States Army and was a graduate of the Cleveland Area Board of Realtors. He served as past president of the Bruswick Eagles #3505.
He was employed as an Insurance Agent for 30 years. After his years in the insurance business he then worked for MPI for 10 years.
William enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, gardening, traveling, fishing, camping and home improvements.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen (nee Kaniewski) Roberts; loving daughter, Jennifer Roberts; dear nieces and nephews, Kirby "Trey" Roberts, Justin (Molly) Roberts, Lisa (Don) Sutuff and Shannon Roberts; and sister-in-law, Joanne Roberts.
William was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kirby (Vicki) Roberts and Ken Roberts.
The famiy will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, (1/2 mile south of Route 303).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions in William’s memory be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, Florida, 33131.
