WILLIAM DONALD SHULTZ

William D. Shultz, 87, of Brunswick passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. He was born April 17, 1939, in Uniontown, PA., to the late William and Margaret Shultz.

William is a U.S. Air Force Veteran who served mostly in Greenland. He was a machinist at Williams and Co. for 37 years before retiring due to the company closing. He enjoyed watching Cowboy movies, traveling with his family and friends and loved his furry friends, Rusty, Riesen, Keegan and Bentley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Richard Shultz.

William is survived by his loving wife of nearly 64 years, Marlene; children, Cathy L. (Scott) Zink, Debra L. (David) Goebel, William Richard (Cheryl) Shultz and Lori Beth Tuomala; grandchildren, Trisha, Shannon, James, Amber, Kelsie and William; great grandchildren, Chance, Skylar, Cooper and Bree. He will also be missed by many lifelong friends including the Stefanini family who have been by his side since high school.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd. (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx) Medina from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm and on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 10am to 11am with services to follow at 11am.

The Shultz family has entrusted William’s care to Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Medina.
