William B. “Bobby” Stevens William B. “Bobby” Stevens, 73, a Garrettsville resident for over 50 years, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 11, 1937 in Laing, West Virginia to the late Ephrom W. and Opal (Litteral) Stevens.
Bobby was an extruder operator at Johnson Rubber in Middlefield and Polson Rubber in Garrettsville until his retirement in 2000. He enjoyed fishing and took pride in his vegetable garden. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lauretta (Michael) of Garrettsville, son, Gary (Stephanie) of Streetsboro; daughters, Lisa (Paul) Inman and Teri (Jon) Jacobs all of Mantua; siblings, Betty (Richard) Petersen of Chardon, Bonnie Potteiger of Ravenna, and Glen (Carol) of Fraziers Bottom, W.Va; and sister-in-law, Judy Stevens of Freedom Twp.; grandchildren, Bradley and Connor at home, Sarah (Jeremy) Keba of Aurora, Signa Inman of Bedford, Sonya Inman at home, Lee (Teresa) Allgyer of Shalersville and Derek Allgyer of Mogadore; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Kaylor, Jaedon and Haylee Keba.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy, Leonard, Paul and Geneva, and brother-in-law, Al.
