WILLIAM "WILLY" T. SLENTZ
July 13, 1950 — February 13, 2014
William “Willy” T. Slentz, age 63, of, Brunswick Hills, Ohio passed away on February 12, 2014. He was the son of Charles and Annetta Slentz. He was born on July 13, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio.
He was a volunteer Firefighter for the city of Brunswick who also supported veterans and their various causes. Willy was on the Brunswick Hills Zoning Board and the Water Commission. He was in the Army and was a Vietnam Vet. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and son who loved his family.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 35 years Denise (nee Bogdan); daughter, Deborah and brother Charles Jr..
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 1 – 4PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A funeral service will be Monday, February 17, 2014 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
