YVON "FRENCHY" GEORGE CHAUMONT

Yvon George Chaumont “Frenchy”, age 79 of Lafayette Township, Medina, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016. He was born on June 26, 1937 in Rollet, Quebec/Canada to
Henri and Lucienne (nee Savard) Chaumont.
Frenchy and Diane (nee Sayer) were married on March 17, 1995. He was a builder by trade and owner of Chaumont Builders in the Medina area and co-owner of Hawthorne Suites in Seville. He was a devout Christian, dedicated to church and his family.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Diane, his children; Anne (Gary) Hill, Linda Engeland and Steve Chaumont, step-daughters; Denise Entenok, Laura (Mark) Novelli and Judi (Brian) Kizzen, grandchildren; Gregory (fiancée Jessica), Megan, Joseph, William, Ben, Ashley and Allie, siblings; Marcel Chaumont, Suzette Brunet (Charles), Gilles (Linda), Jack (Donna), Nicole (Gaston) Simard, Lise Arsenault, Ginette Chaumont (Leo), and Guylain (Manon), mother-in-law Dorothy Sayer, sister-in-law Micheline and many extended family members.
Frenchy was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; Ghyslaine Kilgour, Michel and Guy also sister-in-law Celine and brothers-in-law Blake and Raymond.
The family invites friends to celebrate his life on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from
2 to 4 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Memorial Service will follow at 4 PM. Pastor Jeff Geaslen officiating. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be directed to Christ the Cornerstone Community Church, 853 County Road 175, W.
