Photo: Obituary: Zelma “Zeke”Mingo, 88 of Troy Township, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Geauga Regional Hospital. She was born January 19, 1925 in West Virginia to Henry Frank and Mary Lula (Blake) Dean. Zelma was a finisher at Geauga Industries. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and time spent with her grandchildren. She also loved her dogs. Zelma is survived by her son, Bernard (Kathryn) Dean of Waxhaw, NC; daughter, Mina June (Robert) Burzanko of Burton; sisters, Betty Jane Cochennette of Spanaway, Washington and Loreda (Sug) Gough of Garrettsville; sisters-in-law, Opaline Prince and Lee Ann Dean; grandchildren, Rhonda (Jim) Reid, Robbie (Amy) Burzanko, Brent (Tracie) Dean, Amy Dean, James (Debbie) Dean and Janice Dean; great-grandchildren, Michael, Nikki, Brooke, Ryan, Ashley, Lindsey, Caylee, Sarah and Caitlin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sam; daughter Patricia; and brothers, Hermit (Hump), Lawrence, Holace and Vance. Calling hours are 1:30-3 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3 PM at the funeral home.
